Brunello di Montalcino

His majesty

Our Brunello is made in collaboration with a gorgeous winery in the northern part of the Montalcino appellation. Intense red in colour with garnet hues, this wine offers classic aromas of violets, roses, small red berries, and more subtle notes of coffee and tobacco. It is warm and full-bodied on the palate, with ripe, firm tannins balanced by lively acidity, and the flavours unfold into a long, well-rounded finish. it is an excellent accompaniment to roasted meats, wild fowls, grilled filet mignon..

Arteliquida

Arteliquida is a project where art and wine meet, creating new shapes and tastes every year. Arteliquida is not merely a label, but a visual expression of the many aspects belonging to the wine’s world, emphasizing wine research as much as the artistic creativity. This wine springs from the friendship between the producer Alessandro Griccioli and the artist Eugenia Vanni. Every edition the label thought by Eugenia changes shape and meaning, so that each project is truly unique.

The label shows a costellation made by all the geographic points where the wine is produced and it explains us its history and its journey; in someways the picture is a projection on the sky of what happens on the earth. Arteliquida looks like a constellation made by all the places that created it.

The label reinterprets the bottle and glass concept, intertwining them in the same shape which is emptying an upside down bottle and refilling a glass at the same time. The shape (whose matrix is hand painted) shows the meaning of drinking and the pleasure that follows this simple but also complex action which leads toward many discoveries: the wine’s discoveries.

The moon and the land: the contemporary artwork by Eugenia Vanni shows instinctive thinking, an image of moon which is actually a mosaic. This is linking the old knowledge of how the phases of the moon affect the wine making process and when we transfer the wine inside the old cellars.

Using a single rare Tuscan grape, Malvasia Nera, Arteliquida Rosso opens new flavours from the grape and structures itself around minerals from the soils of Siena, Tuscany. Elegance from a delicate note of blackberry and a hint of raspberry gives a smooth lasting flavour along with a full body from 18 months in our French oak barrels.

Arteliquida bianco is a great Tuscan white wine, the only one which bounds together a French vine, Viogner, with Tuscan ones, Malvasia and Trebbiano.
LABEL 2007: The 2007 label potrays a costellation made by all the geographic points where the wine is produced and it explains its history and journey; in someways the picture is a projection on the sky of what happens on earth.
